Schaefer Farm Events was founded with the goal of providing wedding packages that fit every budget and style without losing modern amenities! We do have real indoor bathrooms! We do not require you to use specific vendors, which allows you flexibility in your expenditures! We handle all setup, teardown and cleanup at the end of the night! Choose the add-ons that are important to you from our additional selections menu!
MICRO: Our most inexpensive package is our micro–Pop-Up Wedding, which is designed as an intimate 4-hour event with up to 32 guests, price range of $1000 - $1800. All decor including centerpieces are included, you just show up!
TRADITIONAL WEDDING:
PEAK SEASON (MAY 1 - NOVEMBER 15) This package is designed for up to 150 guests and is priced $2800 (weekdays) $3400 (Fri) $3200 (Sun) or $3950 (Sat). Any optional selections can be added to this package.
OFF PEAK SEASON (NOVEMBER 16 - APRIL 30) This package is designed for up to 60 guests and is priced $2200 (weekdays) $2700 (Fri and Sun) or $3000 (Sat). Any optional selections can be added to this package.

We offer some additional selections that can be added. Please see our "Optional Selections" menu. We do not require you to use our items, and we do not require you to get ready here, these items are offered for your convenience so it's less you have to do on the big day! The balance of any optional items are due 60 days prior to the big day.

Yes, there is a $1000 non-refundable deposit. Balance is due 60 days prior to your wedding date.
We can also break out the balance into payments if it makes it easier for you to budget!
The deposit to hold the venue is non-refundable because the date is removed from our available dates for other couples. We do allow you to reschedule one time with no fee or penalty. The new date selection must be made at time of cancellation.
We wish we could control the weather....but we can't!
You have the option to have the ceremony in the outdoor location, or inside the barn.
You will be given access to the event beginning at 9 am and will have access until 10:30 pm. DJ must be done playing by 9:45 pm on Friday and Saturday's and 9:30 pm during the week and Sunday's.
We have a bar that is included and a wet bar that is available to rent, however a licensed and insured bartender is mandatory. We have names we can provide of those that have been to Schaefer Farms!
The ceremony will be held at Schaefer Farms, Burbank Ohio, in a scenic wooded area. There will be a private tent with everything that you need for your party following the ceremony with Farmhouse Tables and seating.
You are welcome to bring your own caterer, we can help coordinate the setup. Should you choose to make and bring your own food, that's okay too!

Yes, absolutely!
Yes, you can purchase event insurance through many locations, below is a link to one that we have found easy to navigate. Insurance must be purchased, and we must receive a copy of the policy 7 days prior to the event.
Included is a one-hour rehearsal which is done on Thursday.
If you would like a three-hour rehearsal so that you can conclude with a meal, this is an optional selection. Our 3-hour rehearsal is subject to availability. Typically, our Friday weddings can do a 3-hour rehearsal on Thursday.
Pop Up Farm Style Wedding
Our Pop Up Wedding event takes the planning off of you! Enjoy the intimacy of an elopement with all of the beauty of a traditional wedding!
Wear your dress, wear your jeans or wear your costume, it's entirely up to you how you want to write this page in your story!

Instead of going to the courthouse or running away to elope because the cost of having a wedding is too much, this is the perfect fit for you!
You will first have an intimate ceremony in the scenic wooded area with your friends and family, then you will enjoy your celebration under a tent overlooking a field and wood line. You will have the opportunity to create all of the traditional wedding memories including first dance and cake cutting.

Yes, there is a $1000 non-refundable deposit, balance is due 60 days prior to the celebration.
Included is the venue for the ceremony: all outdoor stump bench and pew style seating for the ceremony, indoor barn space with farmhouse tables/chairs, seasonal centerpieces on each table, dessert table, food table and farmhouse decor.
We will have traditional wedding music playing, however you are welcome to hire a DJ or use our limited DJ service available in our optional items.
You will be responsible for bringing any drinks, desserts and food for your guests.
Yard games will be available for all guests in the courtyard.
4 hours will be allocated for each couple. This includes the ceremony and celebration following the ceremony.
